Complete Telemetry System for Complex Requirements

Acroamatics 2220V VME based Telemetry Data Processor system (TDP) is a VME chassis and card based system using open architecture and operating systems. Requirements that range from single to multiple streams, simple to complex formats, extensive real-time processing, and real-time data display and recording can all be satisfied by the 2220V VME card based TDP family. Highly customizable from catalog of Acroamatics VME cards and third part vendors.

 

 As legacy products, Model 2220V and 2222V TDP systems continue to be supported in limited production quantities, including user interface and software compatible forward migration paths to current Acroamatics PCI based TDP systems and products.

Model 2222V is exact same form factor and functionality as the Model 2220V but without the flat panel display and keyboard.

Single Stream Telemetry Data Processor

 

Model 2500V Compact Telemetry System (CTS)

 Provides complete single-stream telemetry data processing capability. Includes a 1502V PCM Frame Synchronizer, a single-board processor, a 9Gb disk, and a front panel-accessible drive capable of utilizing both standard 3.5 diskettes and 120Mb cartridges. It is recommended that customers consider the NEW  Model 4022-CTS Compact Telemetry Data Processor unit as a fit / form / functional replacement for theWindows NT and Acroamatics software are included. Standard features include the ability to program the unit and display acquired data via the standard Ethernet interface. One VME 6U card slot is available for options such as D-to-A converters or Bit Synchronizer. Options include either the 470M time code and/or 472M bit synchronizer mezzanine cards.

 

As a legacy product, the Model 2500V CTS system continues to be supported in limited production quantities, including user interface and software compatible forward migration paths to both current Acroamatics PCI based TDP and CTS systems and products.

Telemetry Format Simulator

 

Model 2760V Telemetry Format Simulator

Contains Acroamatics 500V Format Simulator card and an embedded CPU for control. The TFS generates complex formats with asynchronous or embedded sub-frames at data rates from 1Hz to 32MHz, and has two 16-bit binary counters, two external words, a 16-bit program counter, and two 4k by 16-bit RAM memories. The TFS has 1024static and eight dynamic data words that can be used anywhere in the frame format, multiple times. Generates all standard and randomized codes.

 

As a legacy product, the Model 2760V is currently supported on a limited basis. It is recommended that users consider migration to more versatile current Acroamatics PCI based TDP and CTS systems and products as a substitute for new requirements.

PAM\PDM Synchronizer

Model 2410V

Programmable Analog Synchronizer PAM/PDM

Contains an embedded processor card and slots for one 520V Analog Synchronizer card and one optional DAC card. Programs can also be saved in non-volatile memory and recalled from the front panel. All IRIG STD 106-86 codes are supported.

 

As a legacy product, the Model 2410V is currently supported on a limited basis. It is recommended that users consider migration to current Acroamatics PCI based TDP based products as a substitute for new requirements.

As a Legacy product,  the Model 2430V is supported in limited production for current customers only. It is recommended that customers consider the new  Model 2430D Advanced Digital Bit Sync unit as a fit / form / functional replacement for the Model 2430V. The Model 2430D offers complete remote software compatibility, operationally identical functionality and identical connector layout schemes - but offering enhanced data rate, noise, and life cycle performance benefits.

 

Hundreds of single and dual stream 2430V bit synchronizers have been fielded, providing complete compliance with all standard codes and the ability to provide additional code processing on special order. Options include additional bit synchronizer card and upgrades for Viterbi, BERT, HDB3.

The Model 2430D offers complete remote software compatibility and operationally identical functionality and connectorization along with enhanced data rate, noise, and life cycle performance benefits.

 

Up to 16 independent 32 Mbit Bit Synchronizers per chassis. Tunable data rates of 8 Hz to 32 MHz for NRZ codes, 8 Hz to 16 MHz for all others. Processes all IRIG standard and randomized codes. Independent PCM encoders with selectable internal/external clock/data inputs. Bit error performance: within 1 dB of theoretical. 12.25 " chassis, flat screen LCD, keyboard, GUI Interface.

Model 472M PCI 32 MHz Tunable Bit Synchronizer

Features tunable data rates from 8 Hz to 32MHz for NRZ codes and 8Hz to 16MHz for all others. The 472 processes all IRIG standard and randomized codes and has a bit error performance within 1dB of theoretical.

1601P PCI 32 Mbps Tunable Bit Synchronizer

 

Model 1601P 32Mbps PCI PCM Bit Synchronizer

 

The card contains four selectable inputs, and programmable filtering for optimum data recovery. Sophisticated phase-lock-loop (PLL) circuitry synchronizes a clock to the incoming signal to extract digital data from the PCM input. This circuitry produces NRZ-L Data and Clock outputs for use by your PCM format decommutator or similar equipment. The programmability of both the PLL and the input filters allows the optimization of the bit synchronizer performance in high-noise environments.

 

The 1601P is tunable from 8bps to 32Mbps (NRZ codes) and provides encoded PCM output for analog tape recording. The on-card processor provides status of input amplitude, offset, and synchronization to the host interface. The 1601P can host an Acroamatics 472M Mezzanine Bit Synchronizer, providing two bit synchronizers in a single PCI slot.

Model 1502V Single Board PCM Data System
Stored program PCM frame synchronizer and data decommutator, capable of real time decommutation of the most complex computer generated high rate PCM formats at rates to 32 MHz. It provides six sub-frame decommutators and two memories (optionally expandable) of 1Mb each, for instructions and data. Decommutation of IRIG-106 Chapter 8 embedded. The Model 1502V remains in full standard production status. Accommodates both Model 470M IRIG Time/PCM Sim and 472M Bit Sync Mezzanine Modules to provide a true single slot VME PCM processing solution.

Over 1500 units fielded over 17 years in production, the Model 501V continues to be supported as a limited production legacy product for existing customers. While the Model 501V established Acroamatics reputation as the leader in PCM Bit Sync design, we suggest new users consider one of several exciting new options offered in our Model 472M and upcoming 474DM mezzanine (VME users) and freshly designed updated PCI Bit Sync card level products - the Model 1611P.

 

The Model 472M bit sync module offers tunable input data rates of 8Hz to 32MHz, and the upcoming 474DM module adds both Viterbi encoder/decoder and FSB/BERT options,  new FIR digital filtering, rock solid stability, and an extended product lifecycle.

NEW Model 500DM (replaces 500V) PCM Format Simulator
Provides format simulation capabilities. Tunable from 1Hz to 25MHz , 500DM generates complex formats with dynamically varying data and subframe capability. Generates all randomized PCM codes. In line with Acroamatics policy of supporting legacy product customers, the  Model 500DM replaces the Model 500V PCM/PAM simulator.

Model 503V Time Code Generator\Translator - replaced by Model 470M Mezzanine
The Model 503V has been replaced by the Model 470M Mezzanine, which
accepts IRIG A, B, or G code directly so that a system can be configured without the need for an external translator unit. Resolves time to microseconds and can generate and translate simultaneously. The Model 470M also provides programmable PCM Simulation.

Model 505VA Programmable Data Stream Processor
Provides data manipulation, data compression, and formatting, and can perform over 300 processing algorithms. The 505V has a 25 Nano second cycle time and is based on the Analog Devices ADSP-21060 SHARC DSP. User programmable and performs input conversions and automatically builds output streams.

Model 506V Digital to Analog Converter
Provides 32 channels of 12-bit D to A output plus 32 addressable discrete lines. The DACs have jumper selectable ranges and can drive 10 ma at 10V. The Discrete outputs can be addressed as one 32 bit-word or two 16-bit words and have TTL output levels and drive capability.

Contains a Data Reconstructor, Data Serializer, PCM Format Builder, 5 asynchronous data output channels and a DAC Bus Interface. The Data Reconstructor accepts data from the host computer via DMA, and formats, time synchronizes, and transmits that data to the TDP Distribution system.
