Overview

 

Combining proven hardware and software from Acroamatics and third party suppliers such as EMC and Symvionics, the Model 4000 and new 4022 Compact Telemetry Systems offer portable system users two capable, yet distinct different classes of telemetry data processing solutions. The new Model 4022 is based on technology developed in support of Acroamatics' new Model 1612P "all-in-one" card embedded telemetry processing solution, featuring powerful TM decom capabilities found normally only in larger and more expensive systems. The Model 4000 is based on Acroamatics proven Model 1626P multi-function frame synchronizer, providing a simpler approach to quick-look data acquisition.

 

Each may be ordered with the new Model 474DM Advanced Digital Bit Synchronizer. Both the Model 400 and 4022 provide low-cost and deterministic, real-time quick-look hardware based processing. Both include bit synchronization, decommutation, IRIG time translation, data recording, PCM simulation, and optional CVSD voice reproduction using included Acroamatics software.

 

Additionally, the Model 4022 CTS provides another level of functionality and processing power. An optional high performance RF receiver is available within the 4022, and the Model 4022 includes Acroamatics high performance Telemetry Data Processing system software (ATSS) to go along with it's more powerful and full function card embedded decom capabilities - with support for TMATS, IADS, and a rich palette of system processing features and functionality.

 

Optional ILIAD Lite Telemetry Software interfaces with both the 4000 and 4022 CTS units seamlessly, providing set up and control of the CTS hardware, data display, data processing, and CH 10 data recording capability. Iliad-Lite host software also adds utilities such as import/export of telemetry format information in TMATS, CSV and other file formats. An explorer-style interface guides the user through system setup effectively and data can be displayed in a variety of formats including a tabular "Tech View" and the advanced graphical "SL View".

 

Model 400 and 4022 CTS chassis connect to any PC host utilizing standard Ethernet protocol and connectivity. Several PC's and Model 4000 units may be connected on the same network thereby allowing independent work stations a selection of data sources as well as access for control of multiple hardware front ends.

ILIAD Lite’s primary goal is to support test engineers and technicians with automated tools for pre-flight data validation, and post-test analysis. ILIAD Lite provides for definition and management of telemetry information, maintaining this in a global telemetry information database.
