The Model 2760V Telemetry Format Simulator is a VMEbus chassis providing all the simulation functions of the Acroamatics 500V FSIM Format Simulator card in a stand alone configuration. The 2760V includes a serial RS-232 service for remote setup and control. The unit also contains a Ethernet connection which, when used with our Remote Operation Software, allows full control of the 2760V. The unit contains a single card VMEbus
computer for control and host processing, Windows 2000 Operating System and a 500V Format Simulator card. There are several configurations that differ in minor ways but are functionally identical. The unit occupies 3.5 inches of 19 inch RETMA rack space. The TFS generates complex formats with asynchronous or embedded sub-frames at data rates from 1Hz to 20MHz, and has two 16-bit binary counters, two external words, a 16-bit program counter, and two 4k by 16-bit RAM memories. The TFS has 1024static and eight dynamic data words that can be used anywhere in the frame format, multiple times. Generates all standard and randomized codes.
