Overview

 

The 2430V is a rackmountable, single or dual stream PCM bit synchronization system that provides maximum performance in minimum space. Built in a compact 3.5 inch chassis, the Model 2430V comes in configurations containing one or two Acroamatics 501V Bit Synchronizer cards that operate at up to 32Mbps . Options available include Viterbi decoding and Bit Error Rate Testing.

You can order a Model 2430V that will decode one or two PCM or convolutionally encoded streams. In addition to standard codes, the uniquely flexible architecture of the Model 2430V allows us to provide additional code processing on special order. Equipped with a built-in keypad and electroluminescent display, the Model 2430V provides convenient front panel setup, and display of both parameters and status. Remote monitoring and programming capability is available via serial and Ethernet interfaces. An embedded processor provides nonvolatile memory storage for up to 20 setup programs.

Model 2430V Standalone Single Stream Bit Synchronizer
Single stream bit synchronizer complete with all standard codes and the ability to provide additional code processing on special order. Options include additional bit synchronizer card and upgrades for Viterbi, FSYNC/BERT, HDB3.

Model 2430V-PP Standalone Dual Stream Bit Synchronizer
Dual stream bit synchronizer complete with all standard codes and the ability to provide additional code processing on special order. Options include upgrades for Viterbi, FSYNC/BERT, and QPSK ambiguity resolution.

 

System Software

 

The standard Bit Synchronizer GUI can program and monitor the 2430V over a network. The same GUI can also program and monitor 1601P and 501V cards, a Telemetry Data Processor, a Acroamatics 2440V VME Multi Bit Sync Chassis or 2650P PCI Multi Bit Sync Chassis.
